IreneIrene Pyun, Interim Executive Director

Originally from Los Angeles, Irene moved to La Jolla to attend UCSD where she graduated with a BA in Communications. She has since developed years of experience in Public Relations, Marketing, and Event Planning. Her work experience has always pertained to the non-profit sector, given her desire to focus on community enrichment.

When she’s not working, you can find her volunteering at events from Leucadia 101 or Cardiff 101. She is also the Membership Chair, Board Member and proud Rotarian of Encinitas “Animal House” Rotary Club.

Currently residing in Encinitas, you can usually find her in the water or downtown Encinitas on her beach cruiser. Her dream is to own her very own fishing boat one day and travel the world on it.

Angie Gallo, Operations CoordinatorIrene

Angie brings over 20 years of experience building and supporting companies throughout Encinitas. She has a passion for growing businesses with a focus on sustained revenue and cash-flow growth. As our Operations Coordinator, she enjoys putting values into practice through strategic planning, process design, and team-building.

In her spare time, you will find Angie and her husband on the beach or camping along the coast with her 2 dogs that wont obey her.

Joel Ingrassia, Events and Programs CoordinatorIrene

A recent graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he received his BS in City and Regional Planning, Joel Ingrassia is the newest addition to the E101 team.

Originally from Orange County, Joel is currently living in North Park where he enjoys being active and engaging in his community.

With a background in event planning, environmental design, and public relations, Joel is excited to bring his acquired knowledge to E101 and the City of Encinitas.
