Local Scoop is a package and plastic-free grocery store. Our store has fresh, organic produce, dried pantry goods (nuts, oats, grains, coffee, spices, etc.), superfoods, spices, and tons of local food offerings.
Traditional grocery stores make avoiding plastic and waste impossible. We want to change that. At Local Scoop, you can purchase healthy, nourishing food that is better for you and the planet. You simply bring your containers from home or use one of ours to fill up on as much or as little as you need.
We also have sustainable kitchen and home goods like waste-free coffee filters, nut milk concentrates, and compostable food scrap bags.Thanks to our shared co-op space with the Nada Shop, we have brought North County a one-stop zero-waste shop for home and body, kitchen and grocery, and just about everything in between.
